The house is located 100 m from the centre of San Damiano d'Asti, a pretty town of 8,500 inhabitants with a Roman decumanus. We are in a decidedly strategic area to visit Langhe, Monferrato, Roero, areas declared world heritage by UNESCO, with their landscapes of hills, castles and vineyards, villages of great charm and excellent wines and food. For every period of year events can be found including truffle and wine fairs held in the months from September to December in Alba and Asti (15 km). The Palio di Asti is a famous festival of medieval origin with an amazing historical procession and a bare-back horse race. Agliano (20Km) and Acqui Terme (30 Km) are also renowned for their thermal springs. A short distance away Turin (50 Km), ancient capital of Italy, which boasts an Egyptian museum of international fame and Royal Palaces of the house of Savoy kingdom
