You will reside in the top floor of the tallest building in Canzo, Como. You overlook the entire fairy tale city of Canzo. Our Guest Home is completely remodeled top to bottom completed in July 2021 and more in July 2025 with all new plumbing, wiring, tile, paint, furniture, ceiling fans, and original art paintings w/ all new appliances. Saving the best for last we welcome you to the 5th floor where you will find your private full floor open-air terrace that gives you a 365 degree view you will NEVER forget! Your host in Italy is our amazing friend Daniela who was born and raised nearby. Daniela helped design the furnishings in the house and Domenico painted everything. As to the family that owns and remodeled the Bella Alda, we are currently living in Orlando Florida USA and reside in Italy and Texas as well. The city streets leading to the Bella Alda are over 200 years old so no big cars advised to navigate here. From the top of the Bella Terrace, you can admire the entire city below you from Bella Alda privately owned terrace on the top floor. Walking distance to 3 bakeries and 3 coffee houses, all with amazing breads and snacks. Nearby grocery store, bank, Live Theater, restaurants, gelato, pharmacy and so much more. Canzo is a totally self sufficient city. Safe and well lit, our castle is in a gated area and a reserved Bella Alda parking spot for our guest at the very front marked clearly. You are surrounded by the Italian Alps and trails that provide you every level of hiking, climbing, biking you would like. Biking is a specialty in Canzo where professionals and armatures train all year. We are a short walk to the train station, grocery store, pharmacy, dining and so much more.
