Welcome to our charming apartment located in Piazza Vittoria number 9, in the beating heart of Pavia. This cozy single room of approximately 38 square meters has been recently refurbished to offer a unique and comfortable stay experience. Enjoy the lively atmosphere of the main square as you immerse yourself in the authentic city life of Pavia, our apartment is the ideal starting point to explore all that Pavia has to offer.
The history of Pavia begins in pre-Roman times. The area, sparsely populated, belonged to the margins of the culture of Golasecca, touching the peripheral area of the territory of the Ligurians. Around the fourth century BC the settled populations were absorbed by the Celts, who migrated to the Po Valley. According to classical Roman and Greek historians, a settlement was constituted by the tribes of Transpadana Gaul on the banks of the Ticino River, not far from the confluence with the Po River. Pliny wrote that it was founded by the Ligurian tribes of the Levis and Marici, while Claudius Ptolemy attributed it to the Insubri.
