The apartment is located on the second floor of a building with a lift.
There are two balconies, one accessible from the kitchen, the other from the bedroom. There are also sun shades/ awnings on both balconies.
There are french windows leading to both balconies and both windows are equipped with external shutters operated by a cord inside the apartment.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker, electric kettle and dishwasher and a dining table that seats four people comfortably. We provide coffee capsules and a selection of teas. There are also separate containers for recycling any packaging.
The bathroom also has a mini washing machine and we provide basic necessities like hand soap.
The home is very bright and faces south and east.
The apartment does NOT have air conditioning but we provide a column fan that can be used in every room.
There is free wifi and a folder with information on Vimodrone and travel and tourist information for Milan.
After each booking, in addition to normal cleaning, the surfaces of the furniture and the TV remote control and the floors are sanitized thoroughly.
Guests are requested to also read the folder information on how to leave the apartment at the end of their stay.
Guests will be received by appointment as we do not live in the house but not far away.
The apartment is located in the center of Vimodrone so shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants and the metro/underground stop (green line M2) can be reached in a few minutes on foot.
The Martesana canal runs through Vimodrone and there are pleasant walks along the canal to Milan in one direction and to the charming town of Cernusco in the other direction.
The SAN RAFFAELE hospital is located approximately 1.5 km from Vimodrone and can be reached on foot in 30 minutes or in a few minutes by subway/ underground (one stop above ground to Cascina Gobba and then with the elevated monorail shuttle) or by car ( the hospital has several car parks).
You can arrive at the centre of Milan by subway/underground in approximately 30 minutes.
