Cernusco sul Naviglio is one of the most beautiful towns around Milan, with a well-kept pedestrian center, bike paths everywhere, the Naviglio della Martesana designed by Leonardo Da Vinci, which connects Lecco to Milan with a 50-km cycle path surrounded by greenery. Cernusco is the ideal town for an extended stop during a visit to Milan, perfect for families who want to spend a few days in a quiet and green place just a stone's throw from Milan. The apartment is in a residential area with easy access to Milan's highways and ring road. It is 2 km from the M2 subway station with which to reach the center of Milan in just 25 min. MOVING AROUND THE AREA: The apartment is located in Cernusco sul Naviglio, 15 km east of Milan. If you come by public transportation, you need to take the green M2 metro from Milan Central Station, direction Gessate. In 25 minutes you will arrive at the “Cernusco sul Naviglio” metro station. Exit the metro and turn right and head toward the center of Cernusco, then turn east, passing by the Cernusco hospital. The apartment is a 7 min walk through the pedestrian center of Cernusco. If you arrive by car and use a navigator make sure the direction set is Cernusco and not Milan and enter Via Monza 132/D. The easiest way is to drive along the tangenziale est of Milan and take exit nr 13 “Cernusco sul Naviglio” . At the end of the exit turn left: the apartment is very close to the ring road exit.
