Located in the heart of the Grecìa Salentina countryside near Cutrofiano, just a few kilometres away from Gallipoli and Otranto, Critabianca is a masseria built in the 1300s. In the 1700s it was turned into an aristocratic country house villa and then back into a farmhouse in the 1800s. It is characterized by the strong desire to maintain the atmosphere created by its history, as if Critabianca, today, were a journal started in the 1300s. Critabianca is an elegant country house for cultivated and sensitive guests, lovers of history and its architectural signs. Guests in search of authenticity, of new and unexplored paths that venture into the hinterland, beyond classic tourist routes. Guests that love comfort and warm-heartedness, that expect to be welcomed at “home,” not only at a hotel.
