The building with the Da Betty was built at the beginning of 1900 by my great-grandparents . They had here an important winery and the seat of their wine trade. The cellar of Da Betty is still like it was in that time. I can well imagine how the carts (pulled by oxen) with the grapes arrived from the vineyards to the present Court, and the grapes were poured through the snapdragons in the basement, and then came out as wine. But as well as the present time, there came the crisis, the hard times and it came to bankruptcy. The sons did what they could to save as much as possible from the property. My grandfather was looking for a way out in Germany. He had formerly been for his father as a representative there, and so already knew the area. He opened there Italian ice cream parlors. At his parents' death he inherited the part of the house, where the barn was. He modified it as a holiday home, and made a garden around. Of course, the whole was further renovated ... and now we offer you the room in the house for your holidays !!

You can spend your days visitng the many wineries in the area and you can enjoy the world famous Piemontese cuisine . The region is full of gourmet and local restaurants all serving the typical, regional dishes, and of course the local wine. You can also visit the surroundings. Alba, Torino, Genova, the Lago Maggiore aren't so far!
