Our premises have been refurbished recently, and the rooms are very welcoming. All the room have flat screened TVs, air-con, heating, fridge, welcoming bottle of water, kettle to make tea and coffee, hair dryer, free Wi-Fi in the rooms and communal areas, sheets and towels, private bathroom, daily cleaning.
The rooms with cooking facilities are equipped with everything you need to prepare meals.
Our B&B Diana Brown has a big communal terrace with sun-deck, equipped with deck chairs, tables and chairs, where we also serve our delicious buffet breakfast.
Hello, I am Elena Villini. Our guesthouse and B&B gets its name from my mother, a South African who came to Lipari on holiday 49 years ago and, after meeting and falling in love with my father Salvatore, captain of a boat doing excursions around the islands, remained on the island. I I have worked in contact with tourists since I was a child and now it is almost 7 years that I manage the business, where I also live with my family. Therefore we are always on hand for help and information during your stay. I love travelling, and together with my husband Massimo, we also run a business for excursions by boat "DA MASSIMO DOLCEVITA GROUP", highly recommended in all the national and international guidebooks and specialized in climbing the Stromboli crater with the exclusive Magmatrek volcanological guides. With us then, in addition to the overnight stay, you can also reserve this service.
The B&B Diana Brown is in the centre of the old town of Lipari, in a quiet small side street, only 5 minutes walk from the ferry port,10 minutes walk from the beach Porto delle Genti and 2 minutes walk from the old harbour Marina Corta, which is a favourite meeting place for a coffee, and also where the excursions by boat leave from.
We are also just a few minutes walk from the Cathedral, the Amphitheater, and the Archaeological Museum. The area where we are located is close to all the restaurants, cafes, pizzerias, shops, supermarkets, post offices and ATMs.
At the main port, which is 5 minutes walk from the B&B, there is the bus stop to all the other villages on the island , and to the beach.
We are always around to give you information about scooter, bicycle, car and taxi hire.
Lipari also has many walking paths and itineraries, which we can point out to you on the free map we give you on arrival.
