Just 100 metres from Piazza della Repubblica, the Dolce Maria is located in the mediaeval hill town of Cortona. It offers free Wi-Fi, a restaurant, and rustic yet elegant rooms with antique furnishings. Featuring exposed-beam ceilings and terracotta floors, rooms at the Dolce Maria House are decorated with chandeliers and frescoed walls. Each has views of Cortona, the Valdichiana or a courtyard from the large windows. This 15th-century building has a Tuscan restaurant serving local dishes, accompanied by wines from all over Italy. A daily buffet breakfast is provided. The Signorelli Cinema and Theatre is 200 metres from the property. Lake Trasimeno is 13 km away, and Assisi is a 1-hour drive from the Dolce Maria B&B.
