The villa is nestled at the edge of the Historical centre of Angera beneath the Rocca (castle). It is a few minutes walk in to the supermarket, bars, banks, restaurants and take-aways and Lago Maggiore with clean swimming beaches.
We enjoy sharing this beautiful part of Italy with our guests and because we live downstairs we are available to help you with any enquiries you may have, whether it's about which restaurant to eat in or where to go swimming.
La Rocca di Borromeo di Angera is a medieval castle that houses a porcelain doll museum. You can also wander around the herb gardens and enjoy a cappuccino at the outdoor coffee shop or climb the ancient stairs to the top of the castle for the most spectacular views of the vineyards and the surrounding lakeside villages and countryside.
