Bel Duomo is run by an Italian-English family. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. It is 50 meters from the Cathedral, and a 10-minute walk from Santa Maria Novella Train Station. Guest can find private parking at the property, surcharges will apply. The rooms come with traditional Florentine furniture, tiled floors, and an electric kettle with free selection of tea and coffee. Private bathrooms are either internal or external. You will have discounts for breakfast at a nearby café. Bel Duomo is situated on the 1st floor of a historic building in the city's pedestrian-only area. The owners have great local knowledge and can answer any questions during your stay in Florence, or recommend the best restaurants and places to visit.

Originally from England, I have lived for many years in Florence, and love this beautiful city which I am lucky enough to call home. It is my pleasure to meet our guests and my absolute priority that they feel welcome and at home in our B&B.

In the 1850's, our property was home to the famous patriot Giuseppe Dolfi, who fought for the liberation of Florence and whose endeavours were instrumental in the eventual unification of Italy in 1861. Dolfi's bust adorns the facade of the building.

Borgo San Lorenzo is part of the pedestrians only area next to the Duomo in the heart of Florence, in the shopping and restaurant district. The street links Piazza Duomo to Piazza San Lorenzo, and the famous market of the same name.
100% safe (as is Florence in general), the lively and festive atmosphere of this part of town is immediately apparent as soon as you step out into the street from the main door of our building. With the Duomo less than 2 minutes walk away, the location makes Bel Duomo an ideal base for enjoying all that Florence has to offer.
