Set on a hillside 2 km from the centre of Sorrento, Hotel La Badia offers an outdoor swimming pool, air-conditioned accommodation and a terrace with panoramic views of the Bay of Naples. On-site parking is free. Rooms at La Badia Hotel feature a satellite flat-screen TV, safe and desk. The private bathroom includes a hairdryer and free toiletries. Some rooms have a balcony with views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and Mount Vesuvius. An Italian buffet breakfast is served daily. Guests can sample Limoncello, Sorrento's famous lemon liqueur, at the bar. Free WiFi is available in public areas. Sorrento Harbour, where guests can catch ferries to Capri, is a 25-minute drive from the property, while Sorrento Train Station is 3 km away.

Although the hotel was isolated from the city there was a shortcut that the staff showed us which helped greatly as taxis were very expensive, €30 each way!」
