Dating back to 1822, this elegant hotel lies in the centre of Capri, just 100 metres from the island's celebrated La Piazzetta Square. It features a panoramic rooftop terrace, a restaurant, and air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen satellite TV. Soft towels and slippers are provided in all rooms at Hotel La Palma, Oetker Hotels. Each has a minibar and fully equipped private bathroom. Some rooms feature frescoed walls and traditional tiled floors. A generous continental breakfast is available daily, including freshly baked pastries, cold meats and cheeses. The restaurant serves classic Mediterranean cuisine with a selection of regional wines. Boats to mainland Italy leave from Marina Grande, 2.7 km from La Palma. The journey from the island to Naples takes 40 minutes by hydrofoil, or 80 minutes by ferry.
