The residence is based in the heart of Laglio close to the lake enjoying wonderful panoramic lake views. The village enjoys an enviable location on the lower western shore of the lake situated just a 10-minute drive from Como City and only 45 minutes drive from Malpensa airport in Milan. Laglio is renowned for its tranquil atmosphere, being one of the few villages here situated off the main lake road with the quieter lower lake road giving you access around the lake as well as the ferry and bus service. The property is surrounded by period villas some of which are frequented by local, wealthy Milanese (on the weekend) and the lakes most famous resident, George Clooney who owns the Villa Oleandra seen from your penthouse home and just a 5 minutes walk! The village benefits from a number of first-class restaurants, bars frequented by the villagers, local stores inc mini markets (fresh bread and pasta), salumeria (fresh local meats) heralding a bygone age!
