Set directly along the banks of the Arno river, Hotel Lungarno is less than 100 metres from Florence's Ponte Vecchio. It offers free WiFi throughout, exceptional views, and a Michelin-starred restaurant. Owned by the Ferragamo family, the non-smoking property features original modern art and 20th-century artwork, including a Picasso and 4 Cocteau paintings. Rooms are decorated with blue tones, and come with unique décor. The private bathroom has Salvatore Ferragamo toiletries, and most feature Italian white marble. The Lungarno’s Borgo San Jacopo restaurant has been featured in major restaurant guides and offers traditional, yet creative cuisine. The Picteau Lounge Bar, open from 12:00 to 23:00, offers lunch, snacks, aperitifs, and dinner. The Lungarno’s prized location puts you at easy walking distance from all of Florence’s most famous sights and sounds. Cross the bridge, located just 50 metres away and inspect the Ponte Vecchio’s little jewellery stalls, before going to visit important churches or museums.
