Breakfast and Cafes - there are many bars around the house. You can have a normal cappuccino and brioche if you have a sweet palate or prosecco and pizzetta, tramezzino (venetian sandwiches) for more adventurous people. Here a list: ✓ Pasticceria (patisserie): exiting the little calle Massa just turn right and walk until you find a cafè on the corner. Owners are a bit funny but the quality of the patisserie is really good. ✓ Bar Rosa Salva: in the main square of SS. Giovanni e Paolo you will find a very nice coffee. If you sit outside it’s a bit more expensive, but during the summer it’s great. ✓ Other bars: go to campo SS. Giovanni e Paolo and cross it to the end towards the entrance of the hospital. Cross the bridge and you will find another couple of bars for a cappuccino and a something to eat. Aperitivo and finger food there is a number of places where to eat and drink something. Avoid the Chinese ones with frozen pizzas and pastas. There are many bars that have tables outside that are fine for a nice Spritz. ✓ Osteria al Ponte: cute little wine bar where you can eat and drink something for cheap.
