Moonfrà is a big house in the small village of Antignano, halfway between Monferrato and the Langhe, right in the middle of the wine world. The house is an historical palace wisely restored and "converted" into a tourist accommodation. It keeps the ancient charm of the building intact: the large frescoed ceilings, the steps of the stone stairs, the terracotta floors and the furnishings salvaged from time and dust, together with the big underground cellar, are the legacy of a past that we were determined to hang on to.
This is me, Chiara: I will take good care of you at Moonfrà, just as I took care of every detail when I was preparing the rooms and areas you will stay in for your holiday in Monferrato.
We are in Antignano, in the province of Asti, right in the middle of the Monferrato district and at the same time just a stone’s throw away from Alba and the Langhe. A strategic position, in short, if you want to get to the most famous wine places or discover small cellars and lesser known localities in the area.
