Calasetta is a small sea village of ancient tradition. La Villetta Rombi is close to the city center easily reached on foot, where there are all the necessary services (ATMs, restaurants, supermarkets, bars, food shops, fishmongers). In the summer Calasetta comes alive with concerts, entertainments and various festivals. The nearest beach is 400 meters (easily reached on foot) but there are also other beaches and coves in the beautiful scenery of the island of Sant'Antioco in 10 minutes by car (Spiaggia Grande, Maladroxia, Coe Cuaddus). The other countless beaches are 20 to 30 km away as Porto Pino, Is Solinas, etc. Ideal for lovers of water sports such as windsurfing, kitesurfing, sup and horse riding where you can reach ideal places to practice your hobbies. From Calasetta you can reach the most beautiful tourist attractions of Sulcis Iglesiente as the Big Serbariu Mine in Carbonia, the caves of Is Zuddas and the Pani Loriga Archaeological Park of Santadi, the Tonnara di Portoscuso, the necropolis of Montessu in Villaperuccio and the Island of San Pietro (there is indeed a direct ferry to Carloforte).
