I chose Ocho Rios because this location is very convenient for many activities. Chrisanns is an ideal haven if you want to get away from the big resort hotels, and enjoy the calmer, more mellow side of Jamaica. The private pool and landscaped gardens are perfect for chilling out. Chrisanns has a gazebo overlooking our beach which is perfect for fishing, or your morning coffee, or a peaceful meditation at sunset. Chrisanns is also near to many attractions, and is an easy 90 minute ride from the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, along a newly built highway with awesome views of the Caribbean
I'm Marian Stewart Titus, and I was born and grew up in Jamaica, just 30 miles away from Chrisanns Beach Resort. My childhood memories are filled with visits to the beaches on Jamaica's north coast. I've been living in New York City since 1998, working in public relations in the non profit sector, and more recently, as a college professor. I also make jewelry and quilts, and sell these at craft fairs around New York City. I visit Jamaica several times each year and spend part of my vacations at the beach while I'm there. My condo at no. 10 Chrisanns Beach Resort is now my creative retreat from the hustle and bustle of New York City.
This location is very convenient for many activities. Chrisanns Beach Resort is an ideal haven if you want to get away from the big resort hotels, and enjoy the calmer, more mellow side of Jamaica. I love the beach, and Chrisanns has its own private cove where you can swim in the sheltered area, or venture further out to the deeper sections of the sea. There are three restaurants right across the street and a supermarket. All accept credit cards. Apartment 10 is across the street from Harmony Hall, a beautifully restored and world-renowned century house, which is now a restaurant. The countryside surrounding Chrisanns Beach Resort has some of the most breathtakingly beautiful vegetation, beaches and rivers on Jamaica's north coast. Chrisanns Beach Resort is also near to the area of Ocho Rios, which has the largest concentration of visitor attractions in Jamaica. The property is an easy 45 minute ride from the Sangster International Airport in Montego Bay, along a newly built highway that has awesome views of the Caribbean Sea.
