ANBAEE is nestled in the quiet woods of Tsukichi Town, Nakatsugawa City, Gifu Prefecture, allowing you to enjoy a private and peaceful stay in our cottages.
It is located on the road connecting the famous tourist destination Magome-juku and Hida Takayama City. Access to both towns is convenient.
You can explore Takayama in the morning before moving on to ANBAEE.
After staying overnight in ANBAEE, you can move to Magome in 40 minutes.
ANBAEE is a lovery rural cottage for a trip to visit old Japanese towns and beautiful country side.
It is located in the mountains at an altitude of approximately 600 m.
It is a renovated Japanese-style old cottage in Japanese country side.
It has four bedrooms, a large dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, renovated bathrooms and toilets and can accommodate up to 10 people.
A 10% discount for consecutive staying is applied from the second night. This is a very good deal if everyone stays several nights for large group.
There is a roofted terrace in the front garden for barbecues and other meals. You can bake pizza in the outsiede brick oven.
In morning, you can wake up with birds chirping.
On clear nights, the sky is full of stars.
You can drink delicious drinks around the bonfire.
'ANBAEE' means 'just nice and suitable' in the local language.
The entire house is reserved for private use and there are no public roads or private houses around, making it ideal for relaxing with friends without worrying about the surroundings.

I was a baker during my working years.
Now, while running a private home stay, I cultivate fields, cut trees from the mountains to make woodwork, and bake pizzas in a handmade stone oven.
I travel abroad twice a year and several times domestically, and enjoy staying at B&B and talking with the owners.
It is happy for me to spend time with guests around a bonfire, grilling pizza and gazing stars in the sky, as if I am on the road myself.
I am not very good at English, but now practicing online lessons with a teacher in Philippine and has been able to speak little by little.

Our cottage is ideal for travelers visiting Magome-juku and Takayama old-town by car.
Staying at an old Japanese house located in the middle of the two famouse sites will be a wonderful memory of your trip.
● Magome-juku, a post town on the Nakasendo Highway 28km, 40 minutes by car.
● Takayama old-town: 81km, 1 hour and 40 minutes by car.
● Naegijo Castle Ruins , A mountain castle ruin with spectacular views. 23 km, 30 mins by car.
● Tsukechi-valley Fudo great falls, A superb spot with a soothing view. 11km, 20 minutes by car.
● Gero Onsen Spa: 32km, 40 minutes by car.

From Road Station "Hana Kaido Tsukechi", approx. 10 mins.
Turn left at the next traffic light after the roadside station onto Prefectural Road 359.

Nakatsugawa Station on the JR Chuo Line.
Taxis or rental cars are available. Buses are also available, but it is about 3 km on foot from the nearest bus stop to Anbaee.
Kintetsu Higashiomi Taxi (in front of the station): approx. 50 mins.
Kita Ena Kotsu Kashimo bound bus, approx. 42 mins, alight at Akitsu and walk approx. 3 km.
Car rental.
Toyota Rent-a-Car and J-Net Rent-a-Car are available in front of the station. Approximately 25 km, 38 mins.
