Aso Baien Spa Resort features 3 different types of outdoor natural hot spring baths, a sauna and karaoke rooms. Comfortable rooms come with free wireless internet. Female and male guests each can enjoy 3 types of rock-lined hot spring baths surrounded by nature in the open air, as well as a sauna. They can also visit hot spring Dondoko-yu a 1-minute walk away, free of charge. Hotel facilities include drinks vending machines, a souvenir shop and free parking. Aso Hotel Arden is only a 30-minute drive from Kumamoto Airport. Aso Farmland is a 5 minute drive and petting zoo Cuddly Dominion is 15 minutes by car. Mount Aso-Nakadake is a 20-minute drive. Japanese-style rooms feature a tatami (woven-straw) floor and traditional futon bedding, while Western rooms have carpeting and beds, as well as a Japanese-style area with traditional futon bedding. All rooms come with an LCD TV and a fridge. There is no restaurant, and meals are not offered.
