Welcome to our charming 100-year-old Komnka house, 140 m2 spread over 2 floors. The Guest Bedroom comes equipped with a double bed, a sofa, and a single bed, and it's connected to an extra space, for storage, hanging clothes, etc... There is an extra single room for easier group configuration and an extra multi-function room , all being located on the same floor, upstairs.
The toilet is on the first floor, not on the bedroom floor.
No pajama or yukatas provided.
The kitchen, lounge space and bathroom are on the first floor.
When booking let us know if you are a couple or just friends for the bed setting arrangement.

Our Lodge offers a cozy atmosphere where you can immerse yourself in the ambiance of a rural Japanese village. It's a place where tranquility reigns, with the gentle sound of wind chimes, a relaxing vibe, a sense of time slipping by, the peacefulness of the evening, and the soothing Sound of Silence. Nice sunsets and numerous picturesque walks right on the Lodge doorstep.
Its location is the perfect hub to visit the region by car.

Okawachiyama is a small pottery village located 3.5kms away from Imari city center. There is nothing at all at the village itself. No shops, no convenient store, no supermakets, cafe or restaurants. There are only few buses coming in and out and the last one is around 16:30. We are not a Ryokan, no special services or staff during your stay. Make sure you understand at the time of your reservation.
It takes 50 minutes drive to welcome you at the check-in , so it is nice to know your arrival time.
I am present at check-in normally if no other option for self check in was decided , and usually at check-out you leave the key in the lockbox.
Prepare your passport or a copy for all the staying guests.

There's a treasure trove of beautiful places to explore within a 35 km radius, which is why we highly recommend renting a car to make the most of your visit.
We recommend enjoying the local Onsen, which is about 3.5 km from the Lodge. Dinner is possible there too at the Onsen for a very reasonable price(recommended).
The village is wonderfully tranquil and very scenic. Yyou can easily find supermarkwet, cafe shops etc in Imari City, which is just a short 4-kilometer drive away.
