On Ishigaki Island’s west coast, Beach Hotel Sunshine Ishigakijima offers an outdoor pool, sun deck with sea views and 2 restaurants. However, there is no life guard between October and March and it is not a heated pool. Please enjoy swimming at your own responsibility. The hotel is a 30-minute drive from New Ishigaki Airport, and a 15-minute walk to Kannonzaki viewpoint. Ishigaki Cave is about a 20-minute drive away. Rental bicycles are available. Umibeno Terrace Naminouta overlooks the ocean and serves charcoal-grilled skewered barbecue dishes. Bogen no Hama is situated next to the lobby and offers an international buffet featuring Japanese and Western dishes.
