This villa is surrounded by nature and located a little uphill, and offers a panoramic view of Lake Ashi. You can also wake up to the sound of birds in the morning and enjoy the magnificent view of Mt. Fuji and Lake Ashi, which is the best way to start your day. If you are looking for a weekend or long vacation destination like that, why not stay at this =NOTE= 1)Parking info: You can park 2 regular sized cars in the house's parking spot for free. This is located on-site and you will be sharing this parking with the other guests. *The parking is not secure(monitored) parking. 2)There is a steep hill (climbing for almost 10 minutes by walk) on the way from the bus stop to our place. There are many steps to get to the house. 3)This listing is located in a Sediment-related Disaster Warning Area. We ask guests to pay attention to alerts from Hakone-machi (Motohakone Area) and confirm evacuation related information on your own as well. Please fully understand and agree to the risks of this area before making your reservation. 4)It could be dangerous when evacuating in unfamiliar territories. In the event of an emergency alert, please evacuate to nearby hotel. 5)There is a chance that some insects or spiders may get into the house as this house is surrounded by beautiful nature and fresh air. The house is cleaned after each stay, but we are afraid that we are not able to completely prevent insects from getting into the house before or during your stay. Please understand these details and this house may not be an ideal fit for you if you don't like bugs. 6) The price for a booking on July 31st will be higher than the other dates since you can see beautiful fireworks from the house on that date. 7) We set the price a little higher for stay in November and December due to the heating expense. Hakone, located on the southwest of Tokyo in Kanagawa Prefecture, is famous for its beautiful lake called “Lake Ashi” with a short train ride from Tokyo. This place has attracted thousands of tourists from all over the Japan, also known as one of the most rewarding onsen resort towns surrounded by steep mountains. If you go down the hill and walk along the lake, you will find a variety of souvenir shops, local restaurants, nice bakery with a nice local feeling. Here is a couple of must-visit places in this area :) HAKONE SHRINE: Situated in front of the lake, this beautiful red torii gate can be seen from the balcony of our place. KUZURYU SHRINE: Just behind Hakone Shrine, another shrine called “Kuzuryu Shrine” sits peacefully on a hill. Just climb a fleet of stairs, and you will see why this shrine is worth the visit as it offers a relaxing, peaceful place to get away from it all. HAKONE CRUISE: Looks like a pirate ship connecting Togendai with Moto-Hakone-ko and Hakone-machi taking you to plenty of attractions from museums to onsen (hot springs) to historic sites located by the lake shore.
