Overlooking Kagoshima Bay, Hakusuikan boasts an outdoor pool and a variety of spacious indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths, including a Sunamushi sand hot-spring. It offers Japanese-style guestrooms and free WiFi throughout the property. JR Ibusuki Train Station is a 10-minute drive away. Guests can enjoy sea views from the balcony and drink green tea at their rooms. The air-conditioned rooms feature tatami (woven-straw) floors and Japanese futon bedding. A flat-screen TV, a fridge and an en suite bathroom are included in each. The Ryokan has traditional gardens, a sauna room and a small souvenir shop. Guests can relax with a craft/art museum and cafe. Daily newspapers and luggage storage are available. A Japanese breakfast and dinner are served at the dining room. Guests can also taste Italian dishes at Ristorante Fenice. Hakusuikan Inn is a 35-minute drive from Mount Kaimondake and a 30-minute drive from Kagoshima Flower Park.

The indoor hot-spring bath is available from 05:30-09:30 and 15:00-24:00.

The Sunamushi Sand Bath is available from 06:00-08:30 and 15:30-22:00.

As of 01 April 2020, this property will become a non-smoking property. A designated smoking area will be available.
