El Rangetsu, situat en un barri tranquil del districte d'Arashiyama, ofereix allotjament d'estil japonès amb bany privat de fusta de xiprer Hinoki i accés gratuït a internet per cable. Els clients també poden relaxar-se als banys públics interiors i exteriors. L'estació de tren de Keifuku Arashiyama és a 10 minuts a peu. Les habitacions tenen aire condicionat, terra de tatami (teixit de palla) i llits de tipus futó japonès. Totes disposen de TV de pantalla plana, nevera i caixa forta. Es proporcionen túniques japoneses Yukata a tots els hostes. Algunes habitacions tenen bany privat a l'aire lliure. El Rangetsu Ryokan es troba a 15 minuts a peu del parc dels micos d'Arashiyama i a 10 minuts a peu del temple de Tenryu-ji. El pont de Togetsu és a 5 minuts a peu i l'estació de tren de Hankyu Arashiyama és a 15 minuts a peu. La recepció ofereix serveis de fotocòpies i guardaequipatges.
