Situated in Sekenani, Leruk Maasai Mara Camp features air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony and free WiFi. The property has mountain and inner courtyard views. Leruki Maasai Mara camp(site) is in the heart of the bush of the Maasai Mara. The game reserve itself is only 2,5 km away. Besides going for a game drive/safari in the Maasai Mara game reserve we can take our guests on nature walks or an elephant walk. Other activities in the area can include a walk on the mountain of Leruk, a visit to the emanyatta or the marketplace for some curioshopping. We can also take our guests on a piki piki (motorcycle) ride to see the zebra's and giraffes from up close! leruki also offers a shop on the property itself that sells jewellery and other gifts made by the Maasai women in order to support them. More information about what's included in our price: 1. Milking cows and goats. 2. Storytelling & dancing around the fireplace 3. Wi-fi & African dishes 4. leruki offers full board & the option of sleeping in a tent, a traditional Maasai hut or stoney house.
The host is a real Maasai warrior, trained knowing everything about the bush and proud of being Maasai. He is been a guide for over 7 years, passionate about the bush and showing what Kenya is all about. We hope to provide the best possible experience in the Maasai Mara and are very happy if you would join us for an unforgettable experience!
The neighbourhood is very safe. During your stay with us, you can visit one of the Masai villages. You'll be living amongst the Maasai. and wild animals. At night the Masai warriors protect you from the wild animals
