Boasting a garden and views of mountain, Longonot View Camp and Accommodation, Naivasha is a recently renovated guest house situated in Naivasha, 11 km from Crescent Island Game Park. Longonot View Eco Camp and Accommodation is set on a scenic hilltop in Naivasha, offering breathtaking views of Lake Naivasha and Mount Longonot. Spread across 6.5 acres, the property provides serene privacy, natural beauty, and a relaxing atmosphere for couples, families, and nature lovers. We're located just 8 km from Naivasha town and only 700 meters off the main Mai Mahiu highway, near Hipeaks Schools—making access easy yet peaceful. Guests enjoy impeccably clean rooms, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the chance to unwind in nature. Whether it’s hiking nearby, relaxing in our natural spaces, or enjoying the crisp hilltop air, Longonot View offers a unique blend of comfort and tranquility just minutes from town.
A simple breakfast is available. Lunch and dinner can be arranged on request. Guests are also welcome to self-cater.
I genuinely enjoy meeting people from different walks of life and creating a space where guests can relax, feel at home, and reconnect with nature. Hosting allows me to share the beauty of Naivasha, especially our stunning views of Lake Naivasha and Mount Longonot, and the peaceful atmosphere on our 6.5-acre property. I love seeing guests enjoy the quiet mornings, starry nights, bonfires, and hikes around the area. It gives me joy to see people unwind, laugh, and make memories with family or friends. I take pride in keeping the rooms clean, welcoming, and comfortable, and I’m always happy to offer local tips or help where I can. To me, hosting is not just a job — it's a way of life rooted in kindness, respect, and creating a space where guests feel truly seen and cared for. Every visit is a chance to connect and make someone’s stay truly special.
Our neighborhood offers a unique mix of natural beauty, adventure, and local culture. The property borders a seasonal dry riverbed that flows for about three months each year, creating a scenic and sometimes wildlife-rich environment. Guests occasionally spot giraffes, zebras, dik-diks, and hares in the surrounding area. We’re near Lake Naivasha, where you can enjoy peaceful boat rides, see hippos, and sample freshly prepared tilapia or common carp. Hell's Gate National Park is a short drive away for hiking, cycling through gorges, or enjoying geothermal springs. Mount Longonot offers a more challenging climb with spectacular views from the crater rim. For guests who enjoy nightlife, the property is just 4 km from Party Island Lounge, one of Kenya’s top nightclubs. The area also features walking and hiking trails, and with the dry riverbed running along our lower boundary, guests can explore nature right from the camp. It’s a perfect escape that blends wild charm with accessibility.
