Our manager Dara is a proud local man who has been with the business from the very start. He speaks fluent English and he loves to share his knowledge of the island and meet people from around the world and share his culture through his unique style of Khmer cooking. “On The Rocks” is set on the waterfront on the sunset side of M'Pai Bay on Koh Rong Samloem island. The bar and restaurant provide breathtaking views looking onto the adjoining islands of Koh Rong and Koh Koun. Our restaurant has stairs from the headland down to the waterfront with great access to the reef for snorkeling or, for relaxing with a cocktail while watching the sun set over the Thai Gulf. At night time we offer free bioluminescent plankton tours to our guests (depending on the tides and moon phase). The accommodation is glamping style; spacious bell tents that offer a comfortable and authentic experience - either for one to two people or three to four people.
