Her life best described as “The Sweet life of Antoinette Tawk,” Antoinette enjoys, loves and takes pleasure out of sweet and pastry making. Very much attached to the radio, Antoinette says that “she can’t do anything in the kitchen if the radio is not turned on,” Her favorite singers being the icon Fairuz, Kazem el Saher and Majida el Roumi. Aside from cooking and managing the guesthouse, Antoinette is a volunteer in an association that takes care of the elderly, in Bcharreh, North Lebanon, where she prepares weekly activities for the residents.

A quaint and welcoming town in the heart of the Qadisha Valley, Bcharre is a great place to stop en-route to the Cedars or stay for a few days and explore the sites. Bsharri is the town of the only remaining (preserved) Original Cedars of Lebanon (Cedrus libani), and is the birthplace of the famous poet, painter and sculptor Khalil Gibran.
Today, the town is located in a highly touristic zone including many attractions such as the Khalil Gibran Museum,Notre Dame De Lourdes Grotto, the Kadisha Valley, The Monasteries, B'qaa Kafra , Diman, the Kadisha Grotto, the Cedars of God forest,Qornet Es Sawda, and several ski resorts.
