“Breakfast was great! Good location just tucked up out of the way but close enough to everything in Kandy either on foot or tuktuk. Also the manager ran me on his moped to the local atm to get some cash out! What a wonderful gesture!!”

Kandy Waters Hotel is located at the heart of Kandy with easy access to the Temple of the Tooth, Kandy Lake, Kandy City Centre etc. This house was built in the 19th Century during the British Colonial Period, and had been originally occupied by British administrative officers.

Kandy, the Hill Capital, was the last Kingdom of Sri Lanka. It's surrounded by mountains, which are home to tea plantations and bio diverse rain forests. The city's heart is the scenic Kandy Lake, popular for strolling. Kandy is famed for its sacred Buddhist sites, including the Temple of the Tooth (Sri Dalada Maligawa) shrine, and for its Esala Perahera annual procession. Our hotel is about 500m from the Temple of the Tooth & only about 100m from the Kandy Lake. The climate, landscape and rich cultural heritage have, for many centuries, attracted travellers to this magnificent city, from all over the world.
