VILLA 92 is a stunning manor house conversion which incorporates Moorish and Kandyan architecture. Situated in the centre of the historic city of Kandy within walking distance to many of the tourist attractions. It is only a 15-min walk to the Temple of the Tooth, Kandy Lake and City Centre. You will be in the midst of the hustle and bustle of the city life with easy access to restaurants that serve various cuisines. We offer a wide range of rooms to suit your taste and budget.

VILLA 92 is surrounded by cultural, religious and heritage sites, sports locations and other places of interest, making it a convenient base to explore the city of Kandy. A mere 2 minute walk from our hotel is Kandy’s largest and grandest Hindu Temple “Pillayar Kovil”. You could visit this temple to take part or witness a beautiful ceremony. A short hike up the mountain is the Majestic Bahiravokanda Buddah Statue, the largest in Kandy, with a magnificent viewpoint of the city. Further down the road is the Kandy City Centre or the Central Business District. On the way to the Temple of the Tooth or Kandy Lake you could grab a bite at the Cornhill Bakers, Co-owned by VILLA 92 management and famed for their fresh bread, the ubiquitous Sri Lankan “short-eats” and tea. Of course there are plenty of other food options in the city for you to explore. Bear in mind a walk around the Kandy Lake is a must and if you are up for it, a 1 Km steep walk up the Rajapihilla mawatha will take you to a location called “Kandy View Point”, which is indeed a beautiful site to take in. Discover the glass murals and paintings at the hill-top Trinity College Chapel. You could end the day at the Kandyan
