Nestled on the shores of Ungurys Lake, Esperanza Lake Resort lies in the heart of Aukštaitija National Park – one of Lithuania’s most pristine natural sanctuaries. Surrounded by forest and water, the resort spans 11 hectares of private land, offering uninterrupted immersion in nature. Built from centuries-old Canadian cedar, the resort’s architecture is timeless and rooted in nature. Warm textures, earthy tones, and natural materials create harmony between the structure and its surroundings. Interiors follow a wabi-sabi philosophy – minimalist, organic, and calming. The 1,000 square metres Spa Esperanza is a haven of quiet renewal, where thermal rituals and tailored treatments restore balance and reconnect you to the present. Dining includes Olea, serving fresh à la carte Greek-Mediterranean cuisine from breakfast through dinner, and Mizu Beach by Heji, offering lakeside Japanese fusion dishes with robata grill and sashimi, cocktails, and music. Just 40 km from Vilnius, Esperanza Lake Resort is easily reached by car or direct train to Trakai – a scenic and seamless journey into stillness. Transfers available upon request.
