The riad Dar Zelda is an early 19th-century wealthy merchants' house. We bought and reconstructed every part of the riad except for the historically beautiful areas in 2001. The riad is in the New Moroccan Style: an eclectic mix of sleek, modern architecture while still utilizing the ancient artisan Moroccan craftsmanship...silks, wrought iron, precious woods and rugs.
Dar Zelda is located in the heart of the Medina, just next to the Medersa Ben Youssef(a must to visit;in all the guides) and the Museum of Marrakesh. A quiet oasis amidst the thrill of this magical city!

Dar Zelda is located in the oldest quarter of the Medina, the quarter of the Great Fondouks, or large inns on the Silk Roads of Africa. A bustling, charming quarter just 10 minutes from the Place Djemma El Fna and 2 mn to the souks.
