A 300 year old newly converted townhouse in a quaint alleyway in Rabat. Rabat is a traditional Maltese village in the centre of the island located a few hundred metres away from the old silent capital of Mdina. Ample restaurants and cafes of various budgets are available within walking distance and nature walks are very popular in this part of the island. There are good transport links from Rabat to the rest of the island and off street parking is available for free, in the nearby streets. We have just changed the bed to a new luxury bed and mattress (Feb 2025) and are excited to start hosting our guests after 2 months of maintenance. Also note that this is a traditional Maltese town house which means there is a room on each floor and 3 floors worth of steps (good to keep you fit :)).

Hello dear guests, My name is Luana and I am a Maltese national who lives in the UK, and this is our lovely holiday home when we come back to visit family. You will be greeted by my dad Joe will give you a warm Maltese welcome and have plenty of recommendations for you. Rabat has beautiful churches and museums, air raid shelters, catacombs, restaurants and plenty of shops. Mdina, the beautiful silent city and old capital of Malta is a stroll of less than 10 minutes away. Mdina is practically car free and one of the prettiest walled cities. There are over 20 restaurants in short walking distance - from very basic local food and pizza to very fancy fare. Same for traditional bars and band clubs as well as a bakery, convenience shops, 2 banks with ATMs, etc. St. Pauls catacombs are situated less than 2 minutes from our house.
