The luxurious Dusit Thani Maldives offers 94 Villas and Residences, located in Baa Atoll, the Maldives’ first and only UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. It features one of Maldives’ largest infinity pools, surrounded by beautiful coral reefs and a turquoise lagoon. With a private beachfront, tree-top spa and free WiFi in rooms, it offers a 360 degree house reef surrounding the island. Staff is able to converse in English, Russian, Arabic, Japanese, Thai and Mandarin Chinese. Modern Thai-style villas are equipped with a flat-screen satellite TV, Bose surround sound system and in-house movies. A wine cooler, minibar and a Nespresso machine are included. Guests can soak in the bathtub, or enjoy a rejuvenating shower at the outdoor rainshower. Free toiletries including a dental, shaving and nail kit are provided. Dusit Thani Maldives is a 35-minute seaplane journey from Male International Airport or a 25-minute domestic flight to Dharavandhoo Domestic Airport followed by a 10-minute speedboat ride to the resort on a chargeable basis. Suspended from the trees, the one of a kind Devarana Spa features 6 tree-top treatment pods with spectacular views. For health-conscious guests, the resort offers complimentary beach yoga classes with a resident yoga instructor, a modern gym, snorkeling equipment, bicycles for each guest and two flood-lit tennis courts. The resort offers guests with three restaurants offering border-less dining experiences, two bars, diving and snorkeling. There is also a library, dedicated kids club, photography studio, activity center with CSR programmes, daily entertainment programs and a souvenir shop. Union pay is accepted here. International spreads are served at The Market, while the over-water Benjarong restaurant offers Thai dishes. Grilled seafood and steaks on the beach can be enjoyed at The Sea Grill. Drinks and snacks are available at Sand Bar and Sala Bar. Hearty breakfast options include Chinese delights too.

The property can be reached by a seaplane or a domestic flight. Seaplane and domestic flight transfers are arranged through third party companies. While the resort assists in making reservations for both seaplane transfers and domestic flights, the resort has no control on scheduling and departure timings which can be affected by weather conditions, international flight connections and aviation regulations.
Please note that the seaplane transfers are for the following additional fees from 1 May 2025:
- Adult: USD 650
- Children aged 2–11 years: USD 550
Please note that due to safety reasons; seaplanes only operate during daytime i.e. 06:30H – 16:00H.
Flight Duration: 35 minutes from Sea Plane Terminal at Malé Airport to Dusit Thani Maldives.
Domestic flight and Speedboat (shared) are for the following additional fees from 1 May 2025:
- Adult: USD 550
- Children aged 2–11 years: USD 450
Domestic flight transfers from Malé Airport to Dharavandhoo Airport in Baa Atoll, including return speedboat transfers to the resort, through Fly Me.
Flight Duration: 20 minutes from Domestic Terminal at Malé Airport to Dharavandhoo Domestic Airport, followed by 10-minute speedboat journey to Dusit Thani Maldives.
Luggage:
Baggage allowance on seaplane and on domestic flight is 25kg checked in luggage and 5kg for hand luggage per person (Excluding Infants). Excess luggage will be chargeable. Please select your preferred flight transfer arrangement and let us know through our Reservations Team at resmaldives@dusit.com
We require a minimum of 72 hours prior notification to arrange the transfers.
Children under 12 years will eat for free based on the rules and meal plan accompanied by an adult, excluding alcoholic beverages. Maximum 2 free kids per unit paid.
Please note that a Green Tax of USD 12 per child, per night is applicable additionally. This tax is already calculated and included in the booking price for adults.
