Welcome to Rene and Flo’s Bed and Breakfast in beautiful Guanajuato, Mexico. We’re Rene, a proud Guanajuato native, and Flo, originally from Poughkeepsie, New York. Our story began in 2009, when Flo came to Guanajuato to study Spanish—and we connected instantly. After a year of long-distance love and online chats, Rene made the big move to New York City. We were married in 2011, and in 2015, we welcomed our daughter, Tillie. After eight wonderful years in Brooklyn, we decided to follow our dream and return to Guanajuato to open a bed and breakfast. This city holds a special place in our hearts, and we’re excited to share its beauty, culture, and warm spirit with you.
