We do serve breakfast to our guests on their first morning. The house is surrounded by gardens and is one block from Yalku Lagoon and two blocks from Half Moon Bay reef fabulous for snorkeling.
I'm a retired Chef and love to cook. My partner and I are cave divers and that is what brought to Akumal. We really love visiting all of the ancient Maya city sites. While cave diving we visited a underwater cave where man lived 10,000 years ago.
Within walking distance are cafes, bakery and shopping. Casa Gatos is on a quiet street great to come home to after a day of diving, exploring Maya sites or just shopping in Tulum or Playa Del Carmen.
