Lorraine, who once owned the award-winning Glenelly Inn in Sonoma County, California, before it was Olea Hotel, opened a charming bed-and-breakfast on a tiny cobblestone alley in picturesque Ajijic, Mexico on the shores of Lake Chapala, and named it Estrellita’s Bed & Breakfast in 2007.

Estrellita's Bed & Breakfast is located in Ajijic Centro and shares a wall with The Lake Chapala Society A.C. (LCS). We're 1 block from the lake, the center, and the main drag of Colon where you'll find an abundance of shopping, dining and events.
Estrellita's Inn makes it easy to enjoy the best of Ajijic.
We have a daily full hot breakfast, 2 fiber-optic internet services with 5 signal repeaters throughout the entire property to ensure great signal in every square inch of Estrellita's, as well as every guest room having hardwired Ethernet connections. All rooms have refrigerators and fire-stick enabled TV's.
We also have an on-site cafe and roastery, El Gato Feo Café + Roastery, that is open everyday from 9am to 9pm. All public is welcome to come and enjoy a cup of coffee and a pastry and use our internet at your leisure.

Well-known for its quaint environment and proximity to great restaurants and attractions, Estrellita's Bed & Breakfast makes it easy to enjoy the best of Ajijic. Emma's Deli, Cocinart, Teocintle, and Tangos all within a 3 block walking distance. LCS (Lake Chapala Society) shares two walls with the property with their beautiful gardens and expat services. The main Ajijic plaze is just 2 blocks and passes the "Mural de Los Muertos" by Efren González which covers an exterior wall with more than a hundred bas-relief skull plaques in honor of those who have died.
