We are Elisa and Guillaume, a French-Mexican couple. We have opened the doors of our hotel house Galopina in February 2022. Galopina is a family project, where we are 100% involved. We love to welcome our guests as true friends and we like them to feel at home, it is a unique hotel house. Our guests have total independence, but if they need information about the place, a snack, a drink or dinner, they can find us in the kitchen, cooking a dish or baking a cake.

Named as one of the Best Places to Go in 2023 by Condé Nast, Galopina was featured in magazines such as Architectural Digest, OpenHouse Magazine and Archdaily. The house was designed in collaboration with Taller de Arquitectura Contextual (TACO), a Yucatecan workshop with a defined style, between sobriety and heart. Galopina is a hotel house made with love, hidden in the heart of the Yucatecan jungle. Located in the middle of the Yucatecan jungle on a 7 hectare plot of land, Galopina is a haven of peace; time stands still and you live at the rhythm of the sun. All rooms have a private terrace or porch where you can read, rest, enjoy the silence or watch the birds, the vegetation and the shining stars at night. In the common area there is a swimming pool. It is also possible to walk along the paths near the house, among the dense Yucatecan vegetation. Breakfast and daily room cleaning are included.

Galopina is in the middle of the countryside. The nearest town, Acanceh, offers the daily life of a Yucatecan village, with its market in the mornings and the ringing of the church bells in the afternoons.
