Your host has lived in Puerto Escondido for over 15 years and has operated Zandoyo for eight of them. He is crazy about food, Mexican in particular, a passion that is reflected in the popular Mexican-themed breakfast dishes served at Zandoyo. Tony is originally from Canada, where he worked for many years in the newspaper industry.

Zandoyo is a traditional bed and breakfast in a quiet and safe residential area near good beaches and Puerto's best restaurants. Zandoyo is the home of Tony Richards, who will welcome you in Spanish or English and with his extensive local knowledge can help you plan your stay. A full breakfast is served seven days a week, Oaxaca-grown coffee served daily. Guests have the use of a shared kitchen, large pool, rooftop palapa, Starlink WiFi. Rental car available.

We are located in Bacocho, a quiet residential area a short walk from the city center, three blocks from the Rinconada commercial area and a 10'minute walk to two swimming beaches. The airport is five minutes away by car.
