Originally from Amsterdam, but once during one of our world trips kept by the beauty of Mozambique. Since 15 years we are living in Tofo's paradise where we offer affordable, but high quality accommodation. We walk the extra mile for guests, just to make sure they are enjoying Tofo as much as we do. In our off-time (running a lodge is quite busy) we love to walk our dogs at Tofinho beach, having a swim with them, watching the African sunset and realise every single day how lucky we are.

As the sun drops below the palm-lined horizon, sip cocktails from our upper storey sunset deck or lose track of time by our aquabliss pool. We have fully renovated our rooms during the C-word period, to make your stay even better. As you can guess, music is at the heart of Mozambeats and you’ll notice that all our rooms are named after some of the most influential artists of all time. You will certainly hear their songs in the bar! Our well stocked onsite bar and restaurant mean you never have to leave the poolside – our shady gardens are an oasis among the palm trees. We also occasionally hold events which can be an opportunity to experience the local community. Our restaurant offers daily specials, homemade breads, vegan options, fresh coconut water, local produce and much more. We have an often changing menu available with meals and snacks which you can enjoy throughout the day on our terrace or at the pool. Besides this menu we offer daily specials, such as ceviche, beef lasagna, fish burgers and quinoa salads -to get your extra vitamins! There are also vegetarian and vegan options. From Mozambeat you can settle into the rhythm of Tofo life, a coastal community that blends Mozambican village lifestyle with intrepid travellers, surfers and divers along the edge of some of the world's most beautiful and unspoilt beaches. Just around the corner lies Tofinho Point, one of East Africa's best point breaks, and Backdoor beach – the perfect place to see humpback whales as they traverse the coast (June – October).
