The former church Trefkerk has been transformed into a private home with a multi purpose room and a 1-room B&B facility. The old cemetery with a monumental bell house gives the location a unique and peaceful atmosphere. It is located just outside the small village of Appelscha known for its beautiful natural surroundings. The Trefkerk is the ideal place for a relaxing peaceful stay.
The hosts are very dedicated to create an atmosphere that is part of the old history of the former church. They enjoy making the guests feel welcome and are rather flexible in catering to any special needs guest might have.
The B&B Trefkerk Is located on the edge of a large national park “Drents Friese Wold” with lots of walking and biking trails, ideal for nature lovers. There a lots of pittoresk villages in region most of them having there own specialities and place of interests to visit.
