Check out the jungle in Pantropica and admire the tropical gardens, special butterflies and meet all the animals. Also, within walking distance you'll be in the city centre of Emmeloord with its shopping centre and super markets.
Don't forget to take a visit to the former Island Urk, or Schokland (Unesco) or discover the power of steam at the Woudagemaal in Lemmer (Unesco), or go for a hike to the Kuinderbos or Waterloopbos with its historical openair laboratorium. Also, it's definitely worth visiting the surrounded villages Urk, Giethoorn, Blokzijl and Vollenhove.
