Welcome to our little slice of peace, right in the heart of Drents-Friese Wold National Park. This cosy and bright chalet is the perfect place to unwind and escape the busyness of everyday life. With a private garden, comfortable seating area, well-equipped kitchen and a fresh bathroom, everything is in place for a relaxing stay. The covered veranda is perfect for reading, dining, or simply enjoying the nature around you. No unnecessary luxury, just everything you need – carefully and lovingly furnished to feel warm and homely.

Hello! I’m Rogé and together with my partner we enjoy this lovely spot in Wateren. Since we can’t be here all the time, we offer the chalet for rent a limited number of days each year (maximum 30 nights), giving others the chance to enjoy it as well. We love simplicity, peace, the outdoors and sports. We keep the house well maintained, so you’ll feel welcome and at ease from the moment you arrive. We’re easily reachable if needed, but above all, we give you the space to fully relax.

Our chalet is located on Molecaten Park ‘Het Landschap’, in the middle of one of the largest connected nature reserves in the Netherlands: Drents-Friese Wold National Park. You can walk, cycle or mountain bike endlessly through forests, heathlands and sand dunes. The area also offers charming villages with cafés, local shops and markets. Whether you’re up for an active day or simply want to relax with a book in the garden, this place has it all. You’ll also find interesting museums and cities like Assen and Groningen nearby for culture or a day out shopping.
