A small and cozy studio on the outside of the city Meppel, while facing the beautiful countryside with a canal. The studio itself is fully equipped and has a nice big bed. It has a private terrace where you can enjoy the sun.
With a separate but private bathroom you have your own space, while in the studio there is a small seating area where you can enjoy your food if the weather doesn't allow you to be outside.
As it is placed on the outside of the newly build neighborhood it has a close connection to the "nature". From the garden you can straight walk into the bicycle path along the canal, or you can even go for a swim here, as I use to do in the mornings. Next to the studio we have our own chickens, who are more than happy to give you a show of their own. The rooster will be your private alarm, when it is time to enjoy breakfast.
Welcome to my studio which I started back in 2020. As I am a traveler myself and often out for work I got a bit tired of the standard hotels and wanted to offer something different. I hope this studio will give you that different feeling. I am a sports fan and practitioner myself, so the place is perfectly suited for swimming, running, biking and hiking.
The studio is based in Meppel. A small, but cozy town with many shops and well known for its restaurants. In the summertime many different events are organized (www.meppel.nl). To get into the city center is about 2.5 km walk or by bike.
Very famous and close by is Giethoorn, also called the Venice of Holland. This is about 15 minutes drive by car.
Further there are many options to go either on a bike tour or a hiking tour, where there are several natural parks close by.
