Situated in the city centre of Amsterdam and only a 2-minute walk from Leidseplein, Hans Brinker Hostel Amsterdam offers a choice of private rooms and shared dormitories for individuals, backpackers and groups. Each room at Hans Brinker Hostel Amsterdam has a private bathroom and lockers for personal belongings. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout. Breakfast and dinner are served in the common area. There is also a bar. Our underground club is open for events, please contact reception for information! We provide tickets for numerous activities & attractions, such as the Heineken Experience, walking tours, boat tours and a pub crawl. Tram stops are at a three-minute walking distance from the hostel and the trams head straight to the Central Station Amsterdam. From Central Station Amsterdam, please take tram line 2, or 12 towards the hostel; alight at tram stop Keizersgracht. You can also take the metro line 52 and alight at station Vijzelgracht.

Please be aware that guests who are 40 years old or older and have booked a dormitory room will be required to upgrade to a private room at an additional cost (due to availability).
We regret to inform you that we cannot accommodate guests of this age in our dormitories. Please note that this property doesn't accept minors under 3 years. 3-17 can stay with a legal guardian in a private room. NOTE: Friends, cousins or notes from parents are not considered acceptable. A legal guardian must be physically present. Large groups (20+) of minors must book via our groups department.
Male guests who book in Female dorms will be required to rebook a mixed dorm/private room (please note this is subject to availability, cancellation fees will apply on the original booking).
Hans Brinker has additional terms for group bookings (Group bookings = 20 pax or more as well as all student, sports teams or event-based (bachelor party etc bookings). Please contact the hostel to confirm any such bookings as these will need to be agreed to before confirming the reservation.
Maximum stay is 5 nights. This also applies to multiple reservations totalling more than 5 days.
We cannot guarantee that beds booked under the same reservation will be in the same room. While we usually accommodate such requests, priority is given to guests who book entire dorms.
