"Het Dijk Huisje " - ( The Little Dyke House ) is a delightful little detached , stone-built bungalow . It has two entrances - front and back with it's own private parkiing berth. There is a large patio and lawned garden at the back where you can sit outside and eat or just relax and enjoy the sunshine . The Ijsselmeer is just a stone's throw away and a small beach within easy walking distance. Hindeloopen is very popular among water sport fans. Wind , kite-surf and sailing enthusiasts from all over the world come here to break the waves. And not to forget cycling ! Het Dijk Huisje offers you full privacy in a romantic setting in the picturesque town of Hindeloopen.
The South West Corner of Friesland is a Mecca for Water Sports. Whether you want to sail , wind-surf , kite-surf , SUP or go canoeing then this is the place for you. If you prefer to stay on dry land then get on your bike and go ! There are literally dozens of fabulous cycling routes in the area and in the neighbouring surroundings. The provincial capital Leeuwarden and nearby Sneek are both worth a visit for the shopping addicts and culture vultures. Bolsward and Harlingen too. Hindeloopen offers a whole host of gastronomical attractions along with two museums. Even in the winter months you may well be lucky enough to go ice-skating on the frozen canals !
