Camping 't Séleantsje was founded in 1953 by Popke and Lies de Vlugt, now the campsite is run by their son Johannes and his wife Marjanne.
Together with an enthusiastic team, they wish you a warm welcome and are happy to assist you. If there are any questions or problems, we will do our utmost to be of service.

Camping 't Séleantsje is a small-scale family campsite located in the middle of the 11-city towns of Stavoren and Hindeloopen.
The direct nature provide an excellent starting point for various walking and cycling tours. At the reception we are happy to help you on your way to discover all the beauty of Friesland. It is also possible to rent canoes at the reception.
You will find our cozy restaurant in the center building. The menu has been carefully composed so that there is something tasty for everyone. There is also a snackbar with an extensive choice of snacks and ice creams. Both are open on weekends from April to September (July & August daily).
During the holidays, the recreation team organizes various activities for young and old (fishing competition, (children's) bingo, spinning wheel, car puzzle ride, ghost tour, BBQ, etc.). Live music evenings are also regularly organized.

The characteristic old fishing village of Molkwerum has a lot of history. In Molkwerum you will find the Bakerymuseum (Molkwarder Koeke), riding stable and a train station.
A visit to Stavoren and / or Hindeloopen should not be missed during your visit. Both towns are only 4 km from our campsite.
