B&B Slaap Lekker (Sleep Well) is a spacious appartment, with a view on Dokkums biggest park. The B&B has its own entrance and no common rooms - its all yours. There is a bedroom, bathroom and a living room with dining area and an open kitchen. The terrace with a view to the park has seats for four, for you to enjoy the afternoon sun. Everything is present, from microwave-oven to airconditioning, from WiFi to Disney+. You can make coffee and tea as much as you like (beans, filter bags, milk and sugar are included and various blends of tea as well). Are you travelling with a toddler, and your trunk can barely hold all the supplies? No problem, you can opt for the toddler package. We will put all the necessary equipment in place. After your reservation we will send you a message with all the options on offer, like breakfast and bicycles. Of course you can also ask for them beforehand. You can park freely on the property, and the key of the B&B is at your disposal. So you can come and go whenever you want. Two sturdy folding bikes can be rented for a small fee, for you to discover Dokkum and its surroundings or to take with you on a daytrip. Breakfast can be added to the reservation, and will be prepared as you like it. Whether it be fresh warm buns, cooked organic eggs, homemade wafels, organic juice, yogurt or milk with cereal and of course fruit. We serve lactose and / or gluten free breakfast on request and also vegetarian or vegan breakfasts are possible.

We love to cater to our guests as best as we can. Which is why we decorated the appartment with so much attention. We strive to make the facilities as complete as possible, too. In case you miss anything we will yet try to accommodate. The appartment is styled to be cosy and warm, with a convenient and comfortable seating area. An ‘smoking chair’ to read the dailies and a couch for watching TV or perusing a magazine. There is a design speaker to stream your favorite music and an electrical fireplace for the ambience and occasional wine. You can contact us any time of the day for questions or requests. Dokkum, one of the historical Eleven Cities of Friesland is well known for it beautiful strongholds, the canals surrounded by historical buildings and windmills, the Admiralty, the Ice Fountain and the Chapel of Bonifatius. But also, the lovely terraces, cosy shopping streets are worth visiting. There are several local breweries as well, if one fancies a taste of local beers. Dokkum is 'next door' (20 minutes) to Wadden Sea World Heritage, for an unforgettable hike or a visit to one of the islands. Park Vijversburg (a historical forest and park) or natural reserve It Bûtenfjild are within 15 minutes of the B&B. And Frisian capitol Leeuwarden is also just a half hour drive away.
